There once was a cat named Rajah. He wanted to get away from home because he’s been a house cat long enough. So he jumped up on a windowsill and planned what he’d do when he got out.

The very next day Rajah went looking for a place in the house to get outside. When Rajah had searched for at least half an hour, he found that the younger two-leggeds had left the door open when they went out to play.

So Rajah took a chance, and before he knew it, he was outside!! Rajah was hypnotized by all the smells and scenes. Just as Rajah was going to take one step into the rich soil and damp grass, a snake popped out of the soil! It took Rajah’s breath away.

Rajah thought he was in a dream because he never saw a breath-taken-thing-a-magig. Rajah was curious about such a thing. He said to himself, “Should I chase that breath-taken-thing-a-magig?” Rajah decided to chase it.

So he pounced up on his hind legs and ran all over the yard chasing the breath-taken-thing-a-magig. Then Rajah ran into a big mud puddle. That was when Rajah said, “I don’t like the outdoors.” So Rajah was a house cat once again, but he still liked his adventure outside.
