Denise Baxter, founder and Executive Director of the Ashland Art Center, will present information about the mission of the Ashland Art Center, a visual arts organization that provides artist support, arts education and artistic collaboration, and its affiliated Ashland Artisan Gallery, which exhibits original work from local artists from an array of media and offers art supplies, reproductions, specialty gift items and home accessories. This free, public Community Lecture is sponsored by Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and will be held on Wednesday, October 7 in Room D of the SOU Campbell Center on 655 Frances Lane in Ashland from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
