It’s been quite a summer as we prepare for the fall season of “TV Worth Watching” on SOPTV I wanted to share the list of award-winning programs you helped support last year.

  • 44 (!) News & Documentary Emmy Nominations including The Vietnam War;
  • 9 Primetime Emmy Nominations including for The Vietnam War and “Mister Rogers: It’s You I Like;”
  • 6 Peabody Awards, including recognition for American Experience “Oklahoma City” and POV “Last Men in Aleppo;”
  • 3 Parents’ Choice Awards, Television, including gold awards for Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Odd Squad, and Peg + Cat;
  • 23 Daytime Emmy Award Nominations and 1 Win (45th Annual, 2018) for A Chef’s Life;
