Beacon Hill Blues Festival

 The Ashland Blues Society presents its 3rd annual Beacon Hill Blues Festival from 1 to 8 p.m. on Sunday July 10th. It stars Portland blues singer and guitarist Lloyd Jones and his band. Opening for Jones will be David Pinsky and his Rhythm Kings, Broadway Phil and the Shouters and Pete Herzog on acoustic guitar. The outdoor festival takes place at 188 Beacon Hill Lane off Old Siskiyou Highway in a beautiful mountain setting in the hills south of Ashland. Food and beverages are available. It’ll be a great all-afternoon blues music party. Tickets are $18 at the door, at The Music Coop in Ashland, and online at www.ashlandblues.org, where you also can see a map to the festival site.
