The term “corruption” is frequently being levied against politicians, business executives, and even priests. But what is corruption? Is it something objective or a socially constructed concept? A free Community Lecture titled “Corruption: A Philosophical Analysis” will be held Wednesday, May 12 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in Room D of the SOU Campbell Center at 655 Frances Lane in Ashland. Prakash Chenjeri, a philosophy professor at Southern Oregon University, will examine the notion of corruption from five different perspectives: philosophical, religious, biological/psychological, political, and moral.
