FREE MEDICARE CLASSES

Learn how to make good Medicare decisions at a free class sponsored by the state for people with Medicare or nearing Medicare age.
Medicare is a federal health insurance program that is more complex than many people think. SHIBA, the state’s Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance Program, offers free, unbiased Medicare counseling.
On Tuesday, May 25, Staff will be at the Eagle Point Library, 239 W Main St, from 9 to 11 am, and at the Medford Library, 205 South Central Avenue, from 4 to 6 pm, to explain your Medicare benefits. They will also present the program at the Ashland Library, 410 Siskiyou Blvd, on Wednesday, May 26, from 9 to 11 am.
You can also find out how to become a SHIBA volunteer if you want to learn about Medicare and help others.
