All are invited to a free Veterans Day concert by the Southern Oregon Concert Band, with special guests the Southern Oregon University Big Band, the South Medford High School Concert Choir, Cub Scout Pack 105, and narrator Sergeant First Class Jesse Austin beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Medford Armory, 1701 South Pacific Highway. The concert honors veterans and their families from all branches of the Armed Forces.

The pre-concert entertainment begins at 6:00 p.m. as the audience is invited to sing and dance to the music of the Southern Oregon University Big Band performing swinging Big Band era tunes. At 7:00 p.m., the Southern Oregon Concert Band takes the stage with the South Medford High School Concert Choir to perform a selection of patriotic tunes and audience favorites as members of Cub Scout Pack 105 present the colors and the Pledge of Allegiance. Admission to the Veterans’ Day concert is free thanks to the generous donations of the Band’s supporters.
