Frozen Dreams and Roots of Migration – Documentary Videos
Frozen Dreams, produced by Emiliana Aguilar Reynoso, a Mayan Quiche from Guatemala, shares thoughts and feelings of women, who were victims of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid at the Portland Del Monte plant, 2007, in which over 160 people were detained.?
Roots of Migration tells the story of the impact of NAFTA on the lives of workers in Mexico and how NAFTA creates conditions that force even more Mexicans to have to immigrate to the U.S.
Each documentary runs about 1/2 hour. They will be followed by time for a group discussion. ?
