Fundamentals of Mediation Training

Mediation Works, one of Oregon’s largest dispute resolution centers located in Medford, is holding a five-day training for community members interested in acquiring the skills of a practicing mediator. These widely applicable skills include effective listening and communication, interpersonal conflict management, the stages and practices of mediation, and cultural issues and sensitivity. Dates for the training are October 21, 22, 23, 28, and 29, and will take place in Medford. This training meets the requirements set out by the Oregon Judicial Department for Civil Mediators.
