“HEALTH CARE NOW. . .WHAT HAVE WE CREATED?”
The continuing saga of healthcare reform in the United States has had more twists and turns than an espionage novel. Fortunately, John Forsyth, MD, a retired cardiologist, has been closely watching the developments and distilling them into an easily comprehensible form. Dr. Forsyth will be providing an update titled “Health Care Now….What Have We Created” in a free Community Lecture to be held Wednesday, April 28 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in Room D of the SOU Campbell Center at 655 Frances Lane in Ashland. The talk reviews recent health care legislation at both the state and federal level and offers projections as to what this might mean for the future of health care. The program is part of a weekly lecture series sponsored by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at SOU. For more details, visit www.sou.edu/olli or call 541-552-6048.
