Southern Oregon Public Television offers internships to students enrolled in an accredited community college, technical school, college, or university. Internships are designed to provide students with the opportunity to gain work experience in public television. Internships are solely for academic credit and are not paid positions.

Southern Oregon Public Television offers internships to students enrolled in an accredited community college, technical school, college, or university. Internships are designed to provide students with the opportunity to gain work experience in public television. Internships are solely for academic credit and are not paid positions. Documentation of matriculation and registration for college credit is required and the name, address, phone, and email address of the supervising faculty person must be provided.
The time commitments required for internships vary according to the terms of the internship. The intern is required to track the hours they have worked and give the timesheet to the worksite supervisor on a weekly basis.
Southern Oregon Public Television provides Public Broadcasting Service programming to Southern Oregon and Northern California and also creates quality programming of interest and value to its community. Southern Oregon Public Television is a Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) affiliate, one of 349 public television stations in the United States.
