It has been over 20 years since Paul Simon made his initial trip to South Africa and discovered Joseph Shabalala and the other members of Ladysmith Black Mambazo in a Johannesburg recording studio.
The talented cast includes Tenor Paul Hennessy, Soprano Emer Harnett, and a troupe of professional Irish dancers including All Ireland Champions, several of them directly from the most prestigious Irish dance shows, including Riverdance, Lord Of The Dance and Gael Force. The musical ensemble is led by musical director and pianist, Pat Marnane, who hails from Tipperary, with All-Ireland-Champion accordion player, Ailbe Grace, also from Tipperary and Uilleann pipes player, Tommy Keane, who comes from Dublin.
