Members of our major giving Circles are recognized as Southern Oregon PBS’s most generous contributors. You’ll enjoy special events and exclusive opportunities, private screenings, and behind-the-scenes tours of the studio.

We have several contribution levels:

Patron’s Circle $1,000-$2,499
Director’s Circle $2,500-$4,999
Producer’s Circle $5,000-$9,999
Executive Producer’s Circle $10,000+

You can give an undesignated annual gift as part of your membership, or you can designate your gift to support specific programs and projects here at the station ­— from Children’s Education to local productions, such as Us As We Are and Local Focus. Charitable IRAs

If you’re over 70½, you may be able to transfer up to $100,000 from your IRA to Southern Oregon PBS without paying any federal income tax. Your gift can be made simply by notifying your IRA plan custodian of your intent to make a current transfer to SOPBS. Stock And Securities

Another way to make a major gift to SOPBS is gift of stock. Donations of appreciated securities may produce an immediate tax deduction and savings on capital gains taxes. To transfer stock, please contact Phil Meyer at 541.779.5602 or phil@sopbs.org.

Charitable Gift Annuities

A charitable gift annuity is a way you can make a gift to your favorite charity and receive fixed payments for life in return. The payments can begin immediately or can be deferred to a future date that you choose.
